Recently, we happened to come to know about an exemplary high school in Guntur, named Sri Satya Sai Vidyaniketan. They follow the guidelines and teachings of Sri Satya Sai Baba and provide outstanding academic education from Kindergarten to 10th class to children, along with Human values, Fine Arts, Sports and other extra curricular activites. They promote all round growth in the kids and help them blossom into ideal human beings.

This institution has been recognized by Sri Satya Sai Trust of Puttaparthi and has been given A+ rating during their official evaluation. We got to know its founder and Principal Smt. Krishna Kumari garu at Sri Satya Sai Samithi in Guntur. In May 2015, we visited the school upon her sincere invitation and were stunned by the way the institution was being run as a model Sai school. The sacred atmosphere, the discipline and the peaceful surroundings made us feel like we were in Puttaparthi itself!

During the conversation with Mrs. Krishna Kumari we came to know that the school was in immediate need of a computer lab but due to lack of help, they were unable to start it. So we offered to pitch in and thanks to our family and friends, we were able to provide the school with five basic computers and one advanced laptop so far. The classes have been started immediately and the children are using this new facility every day, to learn computer
skills that are so critical for their success in today's world!!

In November 2015, once again with support from family and friends, we were able to add 5 more DELL LED monitors and a high configuration computer system to drive them with 4GB RAM and 500 GB disk. They are powerful enough to serve the needs of students from higher grades.

These computers were installed and the enhanced lab inaugurated on Swami's 90th birthday ie. Nove 23rd :) What a blessing!

In 2016, again with help and support from family and friends, we were able to provide two DIGITAL projectors for Sri Satya Sai Vidya Niketan. These help the students of the school to revise their study material easily. Also helpful to project academic videos and presentations!

Latest Update

During 2018, Sri Satya Sai Vidyaniketan's goal has been to improve their sports facilities and acquire some new indoor game equipment for the school.

Our beloved Guru Bhagawan Sri Satya Sai Baba has advised us on a complete educational system - one which aims, primarily, at the blossoming of the human personality. He said education must give equal importance to scholastic as well as to non-scholastic aspects for the all-round development of the child's character, on the physical, emotional, intellectual and moral levels.

Bhagavan often also said: BEND THE BODY, MEND THE SENSES, END THE MIND.

Sports and other types of physical activities come under bending the body and are critical to the total blossoming of the children. So when we came to know that this Sai school was in need of purchasing different kinds of indoor games, we felt we should support them.

With support from our friends, we just helped them add to their sports facilities, new equipment for indoor games like table tennis, mini golf etc.

Recently we were there to inaugurate the new games etc and were thrilled to see the delightful smiles on the faces of the children. They simply could not wait to play all those games. We felt truly blessed to be instrumental in this worthy project!
