It has been one of our long standing seva goals to start computer literacy
classes at our village govt high school. But it had been a challenge to find a
good instructor who would be willing to travel every week to our village, to get
the staff and the head master to agree to allocate a couple of hours to schedule
these classes and also find the funding to pay the instructor and acquire the
basic computer equipment as needed..
By Swami's grace, all these three things came together this 2018-2019 academic year and it was with a lot of excitement that we started computer
classes for 9th and 10th graders at our village high school. The very first class
went wonderfully well. The interest of the students was so high and the gratitude we saw in their eyes was simply unbelievable!
We look forward to seeing this project continue consistently so that these village children will be in a position to meet the technological challenges in education
and later in their careers, confidently!
