TWO NEW COMPUTERS FOR SRI SATYA SAI VIDYA VIHAR

There are two Sai schools in Guntur and both of them have been doing exceptional work over the years in providing quality education to needy children, combined with Swami's human value curriculam. Both have been rated high in the country by Swami's Central Trust representatives.

One of them is Sri Satya Sai Vidya Niketan run by Mrs Krishna Kumari. During 2016-2017, we were instrumental in starting a computer lab at that school, with loving support from friends and family.

The second Sai school in Guntur is Sri Satya Sai Vidya Vihar and this one is attached to the Sai Samithi and is situated right in the same premises. Recently in Feb 2018, we thought we should try to do something for this school too, based on their need.

So Ram called the school convener Sri Narasimha Murty garu and asked if the school needed anything in particular. Believe it or not, he received our call while he was at a meeting with the Central Trust representatives. It seems the school already has a computer center for the students but it has only six computers. Due to the large number of children (close to 40) in each class, the number of computers is falling severely short of their needs.
Many children were not getting a turn for hands on training due to this shortage.

Based on this shortcoming, the Trust representatives were suggesting an increase in the number of computers available for the children and just then the phone rang and Ram was offering help!!

Mr.Narasimha Murthy garu was very thrilled about this divine coincidence and welcomed us to be a part of this sacred project. Thus we had the fortune of buying two brand new Dell computers for the their computer lab, once again with loving support of close friends. They were inaugurated on the Ugadi day (Mar 18th 2018) and immediately brought into use for the kids!
